Studio Office Remodel

by Erika Woelfel

My studio-office has been so much fun to remodel. I think it’s because I gave myself a little color-freedom in this space!

I used all my favorite sea-glass inspired BEHR MARQUEE colors to brighten up the room. And just last week, I thought I’d take the happy-meter up a notch by painting the closet doors in the same fun colors I used on the four barstools…

The paint colors are: BEHR MARQUEE: Day Flower, Folly, Whipped Mint and Alice White.

Don’t they remind you of sea glass? This one’s my favorite of the four…Folly. It’s a beautiful minty green.

The wall of closet doors went from boring to beautiful in a matter of 45 minutes. The BEHR MARQUEE covers in one coat, so my paint projects are getting done in record time!

The inside of the closets are full of supplies and normally I hate to see them open, but with the new colors…I don’t mind so much…

I’ve always loved the idea of painting interior doors and it’s even better when you can add personality by using more than one color.

Now, I’m looking for just the right colors to paint a couple of doors in the playroom…

Honestly, I’m starting to see every door in my house as a blank canvas just waiting for color…I think once you’ve experienced color-freedom…you never go back!

Colorfully yours,
