Ask Erika: Peggy

Colorfully, Behr reader Peggy asked a question about using a certain color in her home. Read Erika’s advice below!

Erika,

I recently purchased the color Egyptian Pyramid PPU3-12 used in my bedroom as an accent wall on the southwest side of the room. The decor is western. I would like to know other colors that would coordinate with Egyptian Pyramid (do not care for reds or yellows).

Thank you,

Peggy

Hi Peggy,

If you are looking for coordinating paint colors, a lighter version of Egyptian Pyramid like Pumpkin Cream PPU3-9 would coordinate on the other bedroom walls. A brown trim color around windows, baseboards and door frame would help tie it all together.

Navy or denim are traditional blues found in Western decor. A softer gray-blue would feel lighter and more contemporary. See what you think of these choices:

Colorfully yours,

Erika
